Donald Trump campaign volunteers in Jacksonville are raring to go, especially now that they have two brand new headquarters.
One is a dedicated call center in an office complex at at 1 Sleiman Parkway, Suite 270. The other, at Beach Boulevard and St. Johns Bluff Road, is what the Trump campaign calls a Regional Victory Center, at 11160-133 Beach Blvd.
That facility was one of 25 new Trump headquarters in Florida that officially opened with simultaneous ribbon cutting ceremonies Tuesday night. Duval County Republican Party Chair Cindy Graves says the two Trump headquarters make Jacksonville unique. They also make perfect sense.
“Duval County has been designated by Politico Magazine as one of the 25 battleground counties in the entire United States," Graves said. "So, a lot of attention is being paid here to Duval County. And we are answering that call.”
Graves said Trump supporters spent August helping the GOP drum up support for their candidate and for the other Republicans running for office down-ballot.
And, just last Saturday, she said, Jacksonville volunteers set a record by knocking on 10,000 doors in a single day.
