Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine has entered the Democratic race for Florida governor.
Levine is a multi-millionaire who made his fortune providing in-cabin media for cruise ships sailing around Alaska and in the Caribbean.
He made the announcement Wednesday as he joins former U.S. Congresswoman Gwen Graham, Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum and Orlando-area businessman Chris King in the Democratic primary.
State Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam and state Senator Jack Latvala are running on the Republican ticket.
Florida Governor Rick Scott is being term-limited out of office. He’s expected to run for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Bill Nelson.
