COVID is on the rise yet again. The Jacksonville area has recently become a hotspot for the virus, according to the Mayo Clinic.

The Delta variant is largely to blame as cases go up once again - mainly among the unvaccinated.

Among Florida's major metropolitan counties, Duval County now has the highest positivity rate and one of the lowest vaccination rates. Dr. Jennifer Cowart, MD is a hospitalist physician in Jacksonville and part of the group Doctors Fighting COVID.  She joined us with her thoughts.

Women’s Health

Many women are now seeking to address emotional, physical and mental issues that surfaced or were made worse by the pandemic. Dr. Valerie Rein looks at the underlying cause of the stress, anxiety, fear, guilt and exhaustion that many women have been experiencing in her bestselling book, Patriarchy Stress Disorder. We spoke with her about it.

Going Green

Kim Kuta Dring, the museum’s Director of Education, talked with us about their efforts and what’s to come.
