Duval Superintendent Discusses Next Steps; Veterans & Small Business; Cultural Council

After a long campaign, voters in Duval County said yes on election day to a half cent sales tax measure to improve and repair local schools.

Duval County Superintendent Diana Greene joined us to talk about this victory, and how the funds will be used to support local schools - some of which are the oldest in the state.

Veterans Small Business Week

Veterans Day is Wednesday and Veterans Small Business Week just wrapped up. 

Many veterans transitioning to civilian life locally have ended up starting a business. Bernie Dandridge of Florida Capital Bank talked to us about the number of resources available to assist them.
