Eat Up Downtown Draws Jax Foodies To Urban Core Next Week

www.eatupdowntown.com

For the seventh year in a row, Downtown's finest restaurants are collaborating to bring Jacksonville foodies a great night out for dinner - at an affordable price.

Can you say, $35 bucks for a three-course menu at the Chart House? Yep, doable. And all part of Eat Up Downtown, a two-week long initiative to bring people into the city's urban core after the end of the workday.

"We've got 22 restaurants participating, and you've got your pick of menus and price points," says Katherine Hardwick, Director of Marketing with Downtown Vision, Inc.  Meals start at just $15 at participating restaurants.

Hardwick says DVI has sweetened the dining deal with prizes too- up for grabs are $25 Jacksonville Landing gift certificates, two pairs of passes to MOCA Jacksonville, a pair of tickets to the opening night of The D*Word, presented by the Artist Series, or two pairs of tickets to the Rick Springfield concert presented by the Florida Theatre.

And this year, you can try a dinner cruise. For one night only, the Foxy Lady will offer that option for just $45 per person.

Eat Up Downtown runs from August 12-25th. Here's the list of participating restaurants. Happy dining!
