Florida Supreme Court Denies Motion To Review Denise Williams Murder Conviction Reversal

The Florida Supreme Court says it will not review an appellate court decision that overturned Denise Williams's murder conviction and life sentence.

Williams was found guilty of murder, conspiracy, and accessory after the fact in the death of her first husband Mike Williams nearly two decades ago. Williams is still guilty of conspiracy to commit murder and obligated to finish the rest of her 30-year prison sentence.

Williams was shot and killed by his friend Brian Winchester during a duck hunting trip. Winchester and Williams married years later and eventually divorced.
