Local farmers, artisans, chefs, and "slow food" advocates are opening their gates for an afternoon billed as the largest food movement event in Northeast Florida.
The 2014 Tour de Farm is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 from 12-5 p.m.
The event, now in it's fourth year, provides residents an opportunity to meet the farmers who produce local food and the chefs and artisans who are committed to using locally-grown ingredients. Thousands of visitors expected at this year’s event.
Dr. Leslie Kaplan, associate director of the Honors Program at the University of North Florida and Carmen Franz, director of the Tour de Farm, joined Melissa Ross to preview this year's tour.
