FSCJ Hosting Free COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics And Educational Event

Florida State College at Jacksonville is hosting free vaccination clinics and an educational event in honor of the late UF Health Jacksonville CEO Dr. Leon Haley and in partnership with UF Health Jacksonville.

Local health experts from UF Health Jacksonville will hold three information sessions this Thursday to share details on how the vaccine is made and how it interacts with the immune system. Free vaccines will be available onsite through a partnership with Agape. There will also be a food giveaway for attendees from Feeding Northeast Florida beginning at 11 a.m.

The events are as follows:

Thursday, September 9, FSCJ South Campus, U135, 11901 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville

  • Educational Sessions: 9:30-10:15 a.m., 10:15-11 a.m. and 11-11:45 a.m. 
  • Vaccination Clinic: 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
  • Food Giveaway: 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

FSCJ is also offering vaccines at the following times:

  • Wednesday, September 8, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at FSCJ Nassau Center, Building T, at 76346 William Burgess Boulevard, Yulee
  • Wednesday, September 15, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at FSCJ Downtown Campus, Building A, 101 West State St., Jacksonville
  • Thursday, September 16, 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., FSCJ North Campus, E-166, 4501 Capper Rd., Jacksonville
