Hidden Gems: Three Layers Cafe In Historic Springfield

It's a tucked-away neighborhood spot with tempting mile-high cakes, bistro lunches, even a Zen garden and wine bar.

Located in historic Springfield on Walnut Street, Three Layers is a true hidden gem.

Of course, it's well known to Springfield hipsters, but this corner bistro is worth a drive from anywhere.

Owners Shawn McGuire and Jeff Wright set up shop several years ago in Springfield after relocating from Atlanta, with a vision of a locally owned and operated coffee house serving delicious small plates and baked goods.

Most customers will tell you, the cakes at Three Layers are the best in town.

The restaurant's wine bar and Zen garden add to the ambiance. Overstuffed couches inside invite you to stay awhile and chat.

It's a true First Coast hidden gem!
