The CDC and the FDA recommended “a pause” in the usage of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine due to reports of rare blood clotting. However, public officials are still urging citizens to continue getting vaccinated with the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines.

National Gardening Day

Wednesday is National Gardening Day. In celebration, and for some tips and inspiration, we spoke with local corporate chef Steve Stallone, who started a garden last year when the pandemic began.

Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp’s New Season

Opening day for the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp is May 4.

JAX WNBA Draft

Rennia Davis  is expected to be selected in the top five of Thursday night’s WNBA Draft. If that happens, she would be the league’s second player drafted from Jacksonville. First Coast News’ Sports Director Chris Porter joined us with more.
