The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man investigators believe was involved in the recent kidnapping of one homeless woman and the attempted rape and robbery of a second.
The suspect is described as a lighter-complexioned, slender black man who is about 6-feet-tall and between 40- and 60-years-old.
Police said the attacks took place in the Springfield and LaVilla areas of the city.
A sketch of the suspect based on the women’s description has been released.
