McDonald’s is joining the ranks of restaurants that offer food delivery in Jacksonville.

The fast-food chain has teamed up with UberEATS to roll out “McDelivery.”

Twenty-nine area McDonald’s are participating and globally more than 7,800 McDonald’s in 47 countries and six continents are now offering delivery.

But get ready to pay extra to have that Big Mac delivered to your door. An UberEATS booking fee is charged to each order.

Customers can place McDonald’s orders on the UberEATS mobile app or on UberEATS.com, using the same account they use to take Uber rides and track their order.

McDonald’s says the full menu – with the exception of soft serve cones – is available in the new delivery service.
