Jacksonville's largest outdoor marketplace showcasing Black-owned businesses, arts, and culture is back this Saturday, February 27.

The Black History Month Melanin Market & Black-Nificent Culinary Art Food Fest will transform five blocks along A. Philip Randolph Boulevard from Union Street to Jessie Street.

The quarterly event includes local music, workshops, community events, volunteer projects and more than 50 Black-owned businesses.

Also participating is For Our Future Florida, a statewide organization that advocates for progressive issues.

“We couldn’t be more excited to participate in this event,” said For Our Future Florida State Director Jenn Whitcomb. “The Melanin Market is not only a great platform for local businesses but also groups like ours looking for opportunities to speak with Jacksonville residents about the issues impacting their lives, how to get involved in their community and join organizing efforts that matter to them.”

It starts Saturday at 11 a.m. and goes until 4 p.m.
