One Lucky One Spark Creator To Receive 'Golden Ticket'

One lucky One Spark creator will walk away with a marketing and advertising package worth as much as $100,000.  The folks who came up with the prize are calling it the "Golden Ticket" giveaway.

This year’s One Spark festival will showcase more than 600 projects in everything from art, music and education to science and technology. Top creators could win more than $10,000 in prize money, as well as financial backing from Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Kahn, Arsenal Venture Partners and a number of other private investors.

But, Eddie Berrang says only one lucky entrepreneur will pocket the Golden Ticket, awarded by Jacksonville’s Void Magazine and local marketing firm Adjective & Co.

“And this golden ticket will essentially give them $100,000 in advertising, branding and marketing services to bring their idea to life,” he said.

Berrang is the strategy and marketing director for Void Magazine and part owner of Adjective & Co.

He said they’re looking for the one creator that will make the most positive impact on North Florida, and they’ve put together a short list of those they think might fit the bill. That’s not to say they’re not open to other suggestions.

“We currently have voidlive.com/goldenticket, where we’re allowing all creators if they feel the need to come in and submit their idea or their creation in any category so we can make sure it’s on our radar and we can come see them next week when we’re down there,” he said.

One Spark starts Wednesday, April 9 and runs through Sunday, April 13. The winner of the golden ticket will be announced April 14.
