Slideshow: Scenes and Signs from the Jacksonville 2018 Women's March

Hundreds of men, women and children gathered at the Jacksonville Landing on Sunday for a rally that coincided with marches and rallies in cities around the world.

The event emphasized voter registration and political engagement, and marked the first anniversary of the Women's March in Washington, D.C., the largest single-day protest in American history.

Speakers touched on a range of issues, including everything from DACA to the plight of hurricane victims in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The event was also coordinated with a massive voter registration drive, www.powertothepolls.com
