Monday on First Coast Connect with Melissa Ross, we had a robust conversation about the potential Camden County spaceport.

The hope is that Spaceport Camden will create jobs in the Southeast Georgia region. However, some citizens oppose the project as the launch path goes directly over Little Cumberland Island. Steve Howard, Camden County administrator and Spaceport Camden project lead, joined us with more information about the project and his response to some of the concerns surrounding the project.

First Coast Success

In First Coast Success, Karen Brune Mathis of the Jacksonville Daily Record spoke with Chef Matthew Medure. Chef Medure told us about his latest endeavor of opening a restaurant at the Mayo Clinic.

Heart Health

Memorial Hospital of Jacksonville will hold its first Cardiology Community Symposium on February 29, 2020. The event will have twenty speakers focusing on both heart disease and treatment. Debbie Stiffler, Director and Administrator of the Memorial Heart Center and Heart Failure Clinic, joined us with more details.
