People looking for an affordable home in Florida can now use the state’s new mobile-friendly website to search for rentals.

The Florida Housing Finance Corporation redesigned its affordable rental locator at FloridaHousingSearch.org.

Property owners and managers can also now update vacancy statuses in real time.

The locator allows Florida Housing Finance Corporation funded properties and government subsidized and privately-owned affordable rental properties to post their vacancies for free.

It’s also free to use for renters and families and individuals displaced during a natural disaster.

The locator includes details on homes’ features and amenities, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, locations with maps, rent and deposit requirements, and information on utilities.

The service also includes a toll-free bilingual call center that runs from 9 a.m. to 8 pm. Monday through Friday at 1-877-428-8844.
