Outdoor graduations at some Duval County Public Schools Thursday, June 3, and Friday, June 4, have been rescheduled because of predicted bad weather.

Weather projections call for some thunderstorms Thursday and Friday evening. Outdoor graduation ceremonies were originally scheduled for 6 p.m. on both of those days.

The end-of-week outdoor graduations have been moved to 9 a.m. The ceremonies that have been affected are:

Thursday:

  • Edward H. White High School
  • Sandalwood High School
  • Mandarin High School

Friday:

  • Englewood High School
  • First Coast High School
  • Terry Parker Sr High School
  • William Raines Senior High

The Frank H. Peterson Academies’ graduation ceremony has not been changed, because it is scheduled to take place indoors at the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts Moran Theater on Thursday. It will remain scheduled for 7 p.m.
