Federal appeals court temporarily reinstates Texas' 6-week abortion ban
After a lower court temporarily blocked Texas from enforcing what is essentially a ban on abortions six weeks into pregnancy, the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has allowed that ban to continue.
2 men are arrested in a California shooting that killed 6 people including a baby
Two gang members were arrested early Friday, one after a gunbattle, and charged in the January massacre of six people including a baby at a home associated with a rival gang, a sheriff said.
A 6th arrest has been made in a birthday party shooting in Alabama
Investigators said in court documents that they believe five of those charged were present at the party on April 15 and "discharged firearms into the crowd," resulting in the deaths of four people.
