Danny Hwang is in his final undergraduate quarter at Northwestern University's journalism school. He will be moving on to the graduate program in Media Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Northwestern in the fall of 2018. He is a music fan through and through, having founded the Korean indie music show at Northwestern's campus radio station as a freshman and writing for the online magazine Korean Indie. He has also produced studio live performances of musicians on and off campus, in addition to a weekly music podcast.

Chris Remington knew he wanted to work in public radio beginning in middle school, as WHYY played in his car rides to and from school in New Jersey. He’s freelanced for All Things Considered and was a desk associate for CBS Radio News in New York City. Most recently, he was producing for Capital Public Radio’s Insight booking guests, conducting research and leading special projects at Sacramento’s NPR affiliate.

In graduate school at the University of Montana, Emily Wendler focused on Environmental Science and Natural Resource reporting with an emphasis on agriculture. About halfway through her Master’s program a professor introduced her to radio and she fell in love. She has since reported for KBGA, the University of Montana’s college radio station and Montana’s PBS Newsbrief. She was a finalist in a national in-depth radio reporting competition for an investigatory piece she produced on campus rape. She also produced in-depth reports on wind energy and local food for Montana Public Radio. She is very excited to be working in Oklahoma City, and you can hear her work on all things from education to agriculture right here on KOSU.

Terence Shepherd is news director atWLRN News, the public radio news outlet serving Broward, Miami-Dade, Palm Beach and Monroe counties. He is Chairman of the Radio Television Digital News Association.

Shawn Mulcahy is a junior at Florida State University pursuing a degree in public relations and political science. Before WFSU, he worked as an Account Coordinator at RB Oppenheim Associates and a contributing indie writer for the music blog EARMILK. After graduation, he plans to work in journalism or government communications. He enjoys coffee, reading and music.
