Yoselis Ramos joined WUSF in Fall 2010 as a student intern. She's reported on various Tampa Bay stories ranging from transportation issues such as bicycle safety, to keeping up with public forums and city/county official meetings, to the exciting things happening right in your neighborhood.
Marva Hinton
Marva Hinton
Marva Hinton is originally from North Carolina. She works as a reporter and fill-in anchor for WLRN. Before coming to WLRN, she spent several years working as a radio news reporter and anchor in Orlando. During her stint there she covered everything from shuttle launches to the foreclosure crisis and the Casey Anthony trial. Prior to that, Marva worked in radio news in Raleigh, North Carolina and Radford, Virginia. She began her career as a radio news producer in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Marva has an MFA in creative writing from Antioch University Los Angeles. She also holds a BA in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she completed a double major in political science. In her spare time, she enjoys playing the pan flute and teaching her cats to do tricks. Marva is married and lives in Miami.

Elaine Chen
Elaine is senior producer of news and public affairs at WLRN-Miami Herald News. She produces The Florida Roundup, a Friday news show, and works on building audience engagement around the issues we cover. Elaine moved from New York City, where she was a lawyer for the city government. She put aside the legal briefs and discovery requests to be back in public radio. Before WLRN, Elaine worked as a producer for public affairs shows at WNYC and WYPR.
Wayne Yoshioka
Wayne Yoshioka
Wayne Yoshioka is an award-winning journalist who has worked in television, print and radio in Hawaiʻi. He also has been on both sides of politics as a state departmental appointee and political/government reporter. He covered Hurricane Iwa (1982) as a TV reporter; was the State Department of Defense/Civil Defense spokesperson for Hurricane Iniki (1992); and, commanded a public affairs detachment in Afghanistan (2006). He has a master's degree in Communication from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and is a decorated combat veteran (Legion of Merit, Bronze Star and 22 other commendation/service medals). He resides in Honolulu.

Respected broadcast journalist Ted Koppel is a commentator who provides analysis and perspective on the topics and events that shape our world. His news experience and interests are wide-ranging, spanning topics from national security, values, privacy, health and the media to Iran, Iraq and the Mideast.

Matthew Stolpe
Matthew Stolpe is a Sarasota native and recent graduate of Florida State University. He studied English with a focus in editing, writing, media, and psychology. When he isn’t working at WFSU, Matthew likes going to the movies, finding new recipes to cook, and catching up on his favorite TV shows. His friends wish he didn’t play so much NPR in the car.

Logan Layden
Logan Layden is a native of McAlester, Oklahoma. He's a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a Master's in Journalism and spent three years as a student employee, covering the state capitol and local host of All Things Considered for KGOU. Logan was hired as a reporter for StateImpact Oklahoma from its creation in 2011 through 2017.
