Florida wildlife officials are considering a plan that could lead to the state’s first bear hunt in nearly a decade. Regan McCarthy reports the last time the state okayed such a hunt, more than 300 black bears were culled in the span of about two days.

In the past, its struggles for survival have upended the economy of Franklin County and reached the U.S. Supreme Court. Margie Menzel reports.
