Florida Republican leaders are doubling down on their efforts to help homeowners save on their taxes. While one group is focusing on reducing sales tax, the governor is prioritizing eliminating property taxes for good. Adrian Andrews has more.

Florida lawmakers are trying to revise school funding in the wake of what’s known as universal school choice. That law has made all Florida students eligible for scholarships to private schools and for home schooling. But since then, as Margie Menzel reports, it’s been hard for the money to follow the students as intended.

Voters will decide tomorrow (Tuesday) what two candidates will fill vacancies in Florida’s First and sixth Congressional Districts. Tristan Wood reports that the races have drawn national attention from Democrats as their outcomes could influence the balance of power in Washington D.C.
