- A state judge said Wednesday that a congressional map approved by Gov. Ron DeSantis and drawn by his staff is unconstitutional because it breaks up a district where Black voters can choose their representatives.
- Councilman Aaron Bowman is calling for a plan to work with a team from the University of Virginia’s Institute for Engagement and Negotiation. UVA would hold a series of community conversations on monuments and what to do with them.
- The Jaguars released their schedule for the upcoming season last night. This, as Josh Lambo sues the team and Shad Khan releases his proposal to bring a luxury hotel to Downtown Jacksonville.
- PETA is calling on local law enforcement to prosecute high school students who strung a bull shark up from the school’s rafters as a senior prank.
