New exhibitions at MOCA Jacksonville

Irish artist Maud Cotter has an exhibition opening tomorrow titled "what was never ours to keep," which explores our relationship with matter and gravity. The exhibition, sponsored by Culture Island, runs through Nov. 13.

Kara Walker’s exhibition "Cut to the Quick" opened May 20 and runs through Sept. 25. The work explores themes of slavery, racism and gender violence through her signature silhouettes.
