WJCT News

Early voting is underway in Duval County ahead of this month's primary election, including for local school board races that are getting more attention than usual, in part due to Gov. Ron DeSantis’ endorsement of some candidates.

Guest: Tanya Hardaker, candidate for Duval County School Board District 6.

Climate Change

A massive climate, health care and tax bill, dubbed the Inflation Reduction Act, is making its way toward President Biden's desk. New polling data shows a majority of Americans believe climate change is a serious problem and needs to be addressed.

Guest: John Kotcher, research assistant professor at George Mason University and the Center for Climate Change Communication.

Electric vehicles

An electric vehicle car show is set for this weekend at TIAA Bank Field. This will be JEA’s third EV show this year.

Guest: Bill Bortzfield, EV Rider.

WJCT Jazz Series

WJCT has a new jazz series from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sundays. This 13-hour series hosted by award-winning singer Al Jarreau illuminates every style of jazz vocal artistry.
