Today we explore a curriculum crafted by students in Duval County that reveals lesser-known stories of Black history. After a visit to the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery, Alabama, students were asked to create an exhibit based on their observations. This experience sparked the innovative idea to develop a curriculum bringing often-overlooked historical information to students.
