The cost of biblical translation

Nearly 80 years ago, a group of Yale scholars added the word “homosexual” to an English translation of the Bible. Sharon “Rocky” Roggio, director of the documentary 1946: the Mistranslation That Shifted the Culture, shares how this historical event affected her and her family — and why it inspired her to make the film and what she hopes audiences will take away from it. Paul Swearengin, a pastor and podcaster, discusses how this "mistranslation" can affect one's spiritual and emotional health.

Then, as part of our continuing primary election coverage, we talk to a candidate looking to unseat the Democrat incumbent in the race for Florida House District 14.

Guest: Therese Wakefield-Gamble, candidate for Florida House District 14.

And, a visit from the organizers of a sweet festival celebrating bees.
