We preview a production of the classic David Mamet play American Buffalo, part of the Lumen Repertory Theatre’s "subversive season.” Hosted in the intimate confines of WJCT’s Studio 2, the play explores themes of economic anxiety, friendship and survival.

And, the Underground Market celebrates its new permanent home and the grand opening of its eatery with a Night Market featuring fresh produce, vendors, music and food. The weekly Underground Farmers and Arts Market is held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Saturday at 1352 N. Main St. in Springfield, but starting in June, the market shifts to evening hours, 4 to 11 p.m., to beat the heat.
