A recent federal court decision in Miami may help health care providers who are suing plans that have slashed Medicare Advantage payments, Modern Healthcare reports.
U.S. District Court Judge Ursula Ungaro’s ruling involves 11 Florida providers that have accused Humana of improperly cutting payments after the federal government reduced Medicare Advantage payments during the 2013 its sequestration, according to Modern Healthcare.
The decision means that the lawsuit against Humana will return to state court.
