A student charged with the hazing death of Florida State University pledge Andrew Coffey will likely have his bond revoked following a bar fight last Friday.

State Attorney Jack Campbell filed a motion Monday to revoke Clayton Muehlstein’s $2500 bond following a dispute at Tenn Night Club on Tennessee Street.

Campbell intends to hold Muehlstein until his trial, set for June 11.

Muehlstein and Ryan Lawrence pushed, grabbed and threw punches at a staff member in front of the VIP entrance to the club, according to the police report. Both men were placed in handcuffs after bouncers broke up the fight.

Muehlstein was on pretrial release and was not allowed to drink alcohol. But law enforcement on the scene determined he was under the influence.

No one was injured in the fight, and the staff member is not pressing charges.
