Three Song Storiesis a WGCU Podcast launched in February, 2018 by co-creatorsMike KiniryandRichard Chin Quee. New episodes are released every Friday morning on iTunes, NPR One, the WGCU smartphone app, wherever you get your podcasts, andon the WGCU website.

Our guest Fort Myers-based musician Kate Skales. Kate was born and raised in a Lititz, PA, about an hour and a half outside of Philadelphia. She has a bachelor's degree in theatre arts from Kutztown, which is in a tiny farming town about an hour down the road. She went on to live in Philly for a few years after graduating, working in theatres, before moving to Florida in 2015. She started pursuing a career in music full time in the summer of 2017 and released her first EP called Ready For Me in April, 2018.

Kate Skales Band was fortunate enough to get back in the studio in October, and will be releasing new music in early 2019. You can also look forward to the release of the music video for “Daughter of the Devil” January 17th, 2019. Kate will be relocating to Los Angeles, CA shortly after the release of their new music video to pursue her career in the center of it all.
