New Chief Science Officer Tackles Florida's Troubled Waterways

Florida has a chief science officer — Thomas Frazer, director of the University of Florida’s School of Natural Resources.

In this brand new role, Frazer will oversee the newly established Office of Environmental Accountability and Transparency.

WMFE 90.7 FM’s environmental reporter Amy Green spoke with Frazer about his priorities for the office — among them, tackling Florida’s troubled waterways.
