Jacksonville Fire Museum

Work to install the early 1900s building on its foundation will take until late August, with no firm date to reopen the museum, the city says.

The city issued a permit Tuesday for the structure to be transported to Shipyards West. The move will allow Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan to break ground on a development anchored by a Four Seasons hotel.
