Tune in to WJCT each week during Morning Edition for these special series :

American Graduate - Every year, more than 1.3 million students drop out of high school. That's 7,000 students a day. Students have the will to graduate, but they do not always have the necessary support or resources. The Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), working with national partners, such as America's Promise Alliance and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, launched American Graduate: Let's Make It Happen — an initiative to help combat the dropout crisis in this country. WJCT reporter Cyd Hoskinson focused on some of the local programs that helped at-risk students in our area earn their diplomas.

Closing The Loop - Written and produced by Warren Miller, Closing the Loop was a series of reports on the way North Floridians are coping with the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression. Every Friday during Morning Edition, we hear stories of residents who've experienced a drastic change in their lives because of the sluggish economy, and how they've adapted to this new reality.
