Porchfest
Porchfest is coming up this weekend in historic Springfield. 20 live bands on 20 porches will fill the streets with music in Jacksonville’s oldest neighborhood. Guests were Kelly Rich, Executive Director of SPAR - organizer of Jacksonville PorchFest; Angela McDermott - Porch Host at Klutho Park for the past 4 years; Tommy Bridgewater of Groove Coalition - repeated Porch Performer at Jacksonville PorchFest; local PR pro and Springfield resident Michelle Gilliam; and photographer and Springfield business owner Renee Parenteau.

Elias Hionides, Vice President of Petra, joined us with a look at all the growth in historic Springfield, including two new clothing boutiques.
Fall Food Notes
Scott Meyer of Congaree and Penn joined us to talk fall on the farm, and Christine Barone, CEO of True Food Kitchen, discussed her new restaurant co-founded by Dr. Andrew Weil and inspired by Oprah.
True Food Kitchen will open the doors to its first North Florida location in Jacksonville at 5205 Big Island Drive at St. Johns Town Center on Wednesday, November 7.
