Adamec Will Open Harley-Davidson Dealership in St. Augustine

St. Johns County approved construction of a Harley-Davidson dealership at 380 Outlet Mall Blvd. in St. Augustine.

Our Jacksonville Daily Record news partner reports the 33,000-square-foot retail building will be built at a construction cost of $4.2 million, according to the county.  Adamec Harley-Davidson of St. Augustine said on its Facebook page the dealership is coming soon.

The dealership is coming at a pivotal time for Harley-Davidson. At the Consumer Electronics Show earlier this month Harley unveiled the details of its first electric motorcycle, called the Livewire.

It will be the first in a family of electric two wheel vehicles Harley plans to introduce in the next few years.

Harley opened pre-orders for the Livewire, which will base at $29,799. Highlights include 110 miles of mixed-riding range, Level 3 CCS electric charging; which should provide a full recharge in well under an hour, and an estimated 0-60 time of 3.5 seconds.

Deliveries are scheduled to begin in August.

The company is also showing two other upcoming new models. The Pan America and Streetfighter are both planned for 2020.
