David M. Szymanski has been selected by the Board of Trustees as the next University of North Florida president.
Szymanski is currently the dean of Carl H. Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati. He has been in this role since 2010. He also been on several boards during his time at the university.
During his opportunity to speak to students on campus, Szymanski said that he wanted to spend more time providing experiential learning such as internships and being more involved with students, according to UNF Spinnaker.
Next, the Florida Board of Governors will decide whether to ratify Szymanski’s selection.
