The Jacksonville Public Library wants residents to submit their questions for City Council candidates. Debates are planned at four area libraries April 20 for candidates who advance to the General Election.
The Board of Library Trustees, the League of Women Voters of Jacksonville First Coast, the Gamma Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and the Theta Phi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and Jax Young Voters Coalition are hosting the event. The debates will be moderated by WJCT’s Melissa Ross and Karen Feagins, and Frank Denton, editor of The Florida Times-Union, as well as others to be announced.
Those who attend will also have a chance to talk to candidates one-on-one at a reception before the debates.
