The planned traffic shift for this weekend along Interstate 95 southbound on the Fuller Warren Bridge has been postponed because of the weather forecast, according to Florida Department of Transportation spokeswoman Odette Struys.
A new date for the traffic shift hasn’t been determined yet.
The shift is expected as part of the project to add an additional lane in each direction. A new shared use path will also be will be constructed on the southbound side of the bridge.
It will be parallel to traffic lanes and be used by pedestrians and bicyclists.
The $126 million expansion project is expected to be completed in the summer of 2020
