Santa Parks His Sleigh To Drive A JTA Bus that Offers Free Rides And Cheer

Santa has figured out a way to spend some time in Jacksonville in between getting ready for his big Christmas Eve trek around the world.

He’ll be driving a JTA bus with a holiday wrap weekdays through December 24 on various routes.

The “Holiday Bus” is free and includes holiday music, candy canes and decorations.

“Every holiday season, the festively decorated bus brings joy to customers and the Jacksonville community as it stops at retail centers, restaurants and entertainment venues throughout the our service area,” said Lisa Darnall, JTA Vice President of Transit Operations in an email to WJCT News.

Since the routes are chosen by Santa, JTA says there’s no set route or schedule but riders should be on the lookout since it could be coming soon to a stop near them.
