Saturday In Clay County: Santa Arrives By Helicopter; Free Bicycle Helmets Given Away

Santa is making the rounds across the First Coast.

Among his stops this weekend will be the Orange Park Medical Center, where he will be arriving by helicopter at 10:30 a.m.

It’s all part of an effort to promote transportation safety.  The event gets underway at 10 a.m. Saturday and includes free bicycle helmets for the first 250 people.

Other activities for kids and adults will include:

  • Bike rodeo
  • Bicycle inspections
  • Touch-a-Truck
  • LifeSouth blood donation bus
  • Sit inside of a lifesaving helicopter
  • CarFit
  • Florida Highway Patrol Distracted Driving Simulation

The Orange Park Medical Center is located at 2001 Kingsley Avenue. The event ends at 2 p.m.
