The Florida Department of Transportation said Monday crews are waiting for drier weather to finish repairing a big hole, termed a void, that opened up on eastbound Beach Boulevard at Falcon Ridge Drive last week.
The right-hand turn lane has been closed to traffic since a four-foot-wide drainage pipe under the roadway collapsed last Wednesday.
FDOT said the pipe has been replaced and the hole filled with dirt but crews can’t pour concrete or asphalt until the weather clears up.
