Over 75 vendors will be at Edward Waters College Saturday morning for the 10th Annual Back to School Giveway.
The first 300 families will receive book bags stuffed with back-to-school supplies and groceries.
St. Vincent’s medical providers will also be on hand offering free school physicals and immunizations.
The New Town Success Zone in partnership with Edward Waters College is hosting the giveaway.
The vendors will be able to assist families with employment services, education, medical and behavioral health services, child development services, as well as housing, according to a joint news release from EWC and the New Town Success Zone.
JEA will be represented for those that may have utility services questions.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and city representatives will also be on hand to share information and answer questions.
The event will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at EWC’s Adams-Jenkins Sports & Music Complex located at 1859 Kings Road.
