JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Tips from citizens helped the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office capture two people who were suspected of stealing equipment and a city car from a task force office on the Northside.

Christopher Dollison, 26 and Jazmine Jarvis, 18 were taken into custody without incident.

JSO says sometime between May 22 and May 26 the task force office was burglarized. A rear door was pried open. Items taken were police tactical vests, multiple sets of portable police blue lights for a vehicle, ammunition, night vision monocular, a bulletproof vest, black duffle bag with the word “police” on both sides in white letters, and other police gear.

The investigation continues into the crime and JSO is still asking for anyone having any information about the incident or location of any of the stolen property to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500 or email them at  JSOCrimeTips@jaxsheriff.org. To remain anonymous and receive a possible reward up to $3,000 contact Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.
