We Talk to Newly Appointed SFWMD Board Member Chauncey Goss

  Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced he's appointing Chauncey Gossto the board of theSouth Florida Water Management District, where he'll represent Lee, Collier, Hendry and Charlotte counties. Goss is a member of the Sanibel City Counci, and is the managing partner ofGoss Practical Solutions, a budget forecasting and geopolitical analysis firm. He also serves as the treasurer ofCaptains for Clean Water, as a member of the executive committee of theSouthwest Florida Community Foundationand as a member of theSanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation.Goss joins us to discuss the details of his new position.

Julie Glenn is the host of Gulf Coast Live. She has been working in southwest Florida as a freelance writer since 2007, most recently as a regular columnist for the Naples Daily News. She began her broadcasting career in 1993 as a reporter/anchor/producer for a local CBS affiliate in Quincy, Illinois. After also working for the NBC affiliate, she decided to move to Parma, Italy where she earned her Master’s degree in communication from the University of Gastronomic Sciences. Her undergraduate degree in Mass Communication is from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.
