Women are running for office in historic numbers this year.
Many have been inspired by the group She Should Run.
The nonpartisan organization has the goal of getting 250,000 women to run for office by the year 2030.

“While there’s great interest in 2018 we are really looking down the road at supporting women at all levels of government, whether they’re planning to run this year or five years from now,” said Pereira.

She Should Run is holding an incubator in November for local women interested in learning the skill set to run for office.
