Agnes Lopez

WJCT 89.9 FM is introducing a new weekend lineup that combines listener favorites with new programs.

On Saturday, Oct. 26, WJCT will premiere the first episode of the new season of State of the Re:Union, created and hosted by Al Letson.

In the show, titled "The Hospital Always Wins," listeners will be introduced to the mystery of artist Issa Ibrahim, a resident of Creedmor Psychiatric Center in Queens, NY. The show will air at 3 p.m.

Sunday will mark the premiere of two programs, one new to WJCT and another produced by WJCT and hosted by Letson.

Ask Me Another, a co-production of NPR and WNYC in New York, is NPR's latest quiz program. The show is recorded live each week at The Bell House in Brooklyn, NY.

Host Ophira Eisenberg invites audience guests and listeners to face off in trivia challenges, all set to the song stylings of house musician (known in both comedy and music circles as a singer-songwriter with heart) Jonathan Coulton.

Freestyle is a new program produced by WJCT hosted by Al Letson that will bring original storytelling and s0me of the best segments from public radio together for a unique radio experience.

Al Letson joined Melissa Ross on First Coast Connect to talk about SOTRU and preview Freestyle.
