Described as "Walmart's Warhol" and "America's Brand Painter," fine artist Brendan O’Connell is renowned for his work that features the aisles and products of America’s most popular interior space.
His pop art and in-store paintings from Walmart go for big money, but underneath it all is a purpose — a project working to spark creativity in kids and encourage more art in schools.
O’Connell will be dropping into a Jacksonville Walmart this week to do two live paintings. He joined Melissa Ross via telephone for a preview.
Brendan O'Connell will be at the Walmart Supercenter at 4250 Philips Highway in Jacksonville from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on July 16 and 17.
