Publix Debuts NFL-Sponsored Sub Sandwiches
Want to support the Jaguars while eating lunch? Publix has you covered.
The Lakeland-based supermarket chain has rolled out signature subs for the four NFL teams with which it has sponsorship deals, the Jaguars among them.
The Jacksonville version of the sandwich features chicken tenders, bacon, cheddar cheese, cole slaw and barbecue mayonnaise. It’s unclear how the supermarket developed the subs, but the ones for the three other markets are a bit more adventuresome.
The Miami Dolphin sub has fried plantains, the Buccaneers sandwich has mango peach salsa and guacamole and the chicken tenders on the Atlanta Falcon sub are maple flavored.
The subs are available through October.
